The activists of the BNP-led 18-party alliance vandalised and set fire to vehicles while setting off crude bombs around various parts of the capital, Friday evening.
Supporters of the opposition alliance torched a passenger bus in Farmgate sometime around 6pm. A private car was also set on fire in Segunbagicha in the evening.

Meanwhile, at least 12 crude bombs were set off in Shahbagh, Dhaka University campus, Purana Paltan and High Court intersection areas of the capital.
