A housewife was hacked to death by unidentified criminals last evening in the capital’s Pallabi.
Shahera Khatun, 30, wife of Md Sohel, was found dead near Abbas Uddin School around 8pm.
The victim and her husband Sohel used to run a shop near their house on Paris Road in Mirpur Section 11.
Police could not ascertain the cause of the murder. However, Sub-Inspector Abdul Baten of Pallabi police station said to have heard that Shahera was killed few minutes after she went out of her house with three other women, who are yet to be identified.
