Delpak is the sound designer of films such as, “A Separation” and “Like Someone in Love,” sound effects and mixer in “Baran,” post-production in “Children of Heaven.”

In the seminar, Delpak will state significant points about sound’s characteristic. “We will explore how to develop the emotional aspect of sound and consequently create the emotional tone and evoke the audience’s reaction. Sound not only should be used because of its source appearance in the scene but more importantly it must be used to create the mood of story. Usually a literal sound cannot evoke the audience’s feelings and it should be created in a non-literal, ambiguous, and dramatic ways to develop this purpose.”

The topics of discussion on the seminar will be followed by sound design conception, sound and space, sound and silence, point of audition and subjective sound and many more will be discussed in the seminar.
