Police arrested 10 members of Jamaat-e-Islami in the Uttara area of the capital on Saturday night. The identity of the detainees could not be known immediately, but they admitted that they were Sura members of Jamaat.
The law enforcers recovered several leaflets from their possessions.
Police nabbed them at a house in Uttara around 9:30 pm while they were holding a clandestine meeting and planning to conduct subversive acts, reports banglanews.
Uttara (west) police station Sub-Inspector Mujibur confirmed the matter.
Earlier on Friday, Rapid Action Battalion-10 personnel arrested 10 Shibir members from the Sutrapur area of the capital.
