Eid means a lot of delicious food on the dining table. You have to be cautious about your health on your Eid journey and should also be concerned about unwanted accidents. Otherwise, sickness and injuries can ruin your Eid holidays anytime. Here are a few helpful tips for your Eid holidays, which you can follow.

In a long journey people, especially children, catch a cold. To cope with this situation, you should keep some tissue paper with you and mufflers for your children. You can keep sunscreen lotion to protect yourself from sun burn. You should also keep a small soap in your handbag. It is good to keep an umbrella and a hat with you, to protect your children from sun and rain.

It is very risky to drink water and food from outside during your journey. Contaminated water and food can make you sick very quickly. So, you should keep some bottled water and dry food like biscuits with you.

Take extra care of your children

Children are always going here and there during journeys. So keep them in close contact with you as there is a risk of losing them. Many kinds of accidents can happen with children especially in launch, bus and train journeys.

Make your Eid first aid box

Everyone should be conscious about first aid treatment in Eid holidays. In these holidays, it can be difficult to get medicine and to reach a doctor also. So, you should prepare yourself to cope with the general health problem in Eid vacations in a rural area. Before Eid journey you can make a list of few medicines and some medical materials as given here and keep it with you. Before collecting your medicines, talk to your family physician, to know about the dose and use of the above medicines.

Bring your prescriptions and regular medicines

Remember, to take your prescription with you. If you become sick when you are in your village or any other place other than your home, this prescription will provide the medical information to your doctor. You should take enough regular medicine with you, because it is difficult to collect medicine on your Eid vaccation. If you have an extra spectacle, take it with you for emergency.

Save your doctor’s phone number

During Eid, it can be difficult to meet your regular doctor. You should take his/her phone number so that you can call him/her to seek medical advice.
