Zakia Bari Momo has already made a place within the hearts of thousands of fans with her acting skills and simple elegance. Momo was crowned the winner of Channel-i Lux Superstar 2006. She won a national award for her role in her debut movie “Daruchini Dwip,” which was a great achievement for a newcomer.   It was her first work on media and silver screen based on one of the popular novel by Humayun Ahmed. In conversation with Dhaka Tribune, the starlet talks about different aspects of her career:   Tell us about Eid, how many new projects are you working on?   I’m involved in different dimensional dramas for this Eid. Otherwise, I am working on a few serials at the moment. Could you mention some of your works that the audience will appreciate this Eid?   Currently I am busy with shooting of Eid specials. I am done with most of the shootings. “Nilpory  Nilanjna,”  directed by Shihab Shahin, “Mayti Kotha Bolibe Kintu Prem Koribe Na,” directed by Salauddin Lavlu, Ezaz Munna’s “Kobirajer Bouer Akjon Chele Bondhu Chilo,” “Eclipse” directed by Mabrur Rashid Banna, “Jockey” by Kaiser Ahmed and there is a few more surprise waiting for my fans.   Which one is your favourite?   Actually, in this Eid, I love each of the characters. Many of my works were enjoyable and each character had its own specialty. One of them is really very practical. I have been played a character of a journalist who was very jolly. She met a guy who has lots of complain about his life.  The girl motivated him a lot to have a peaceful life. One day, she has gone to cover news, there she died in fire collapse.  I have played this character In “Eclipse,” directed by Mabrur Rashid Banna against Tahsan.    What you think about quality and quantity?   Basically, I am less interested in quantity, I believe in quality and always try to live up to a certain standard.  Whatever I am doing as an actress or model, I think, I should give my hundred percent to each work. I prefer to work in selective projects.    Do you have any plan to working on silver screen again?   Yes, I do. I have already singed a movie named “Ei Muhurte,” directed by Masud Hasan Uzzol.
