Shakib reclaims top spot

Update : 19 Jun 2013, 12:31 PM
A mediocre showing by Pakistan skipper Mohammad Hafeez in the ongoing Champions Trophy has resulted in Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan returning to the top of the ICC ODI ranking for all-rounders. Shakib, whose last ODI was on May 8 in Bulawayo against Zimbabwe, has 387 points - 5 ahead of Mohammad Hafeez in the ICC ratings yesterday. Australia’s Shane Watson is in third position with 372 points. In the Test rankings, South African Jacques Kallis remains in the top spot with 374 points, with Shakib’s 355 putting him in second place.  Shakib is set to play county cricket in England for Leicestershire in the upcoming Friends Life T20 tournament, which begins on June 26.
