FM Aminul Islam took a solo lead in the Prime Bank 16th International Rating Chess Tournament with maximum five points at the end of the fifth round. Aminul beat IM Abu Sufian Shakil at the hall room of the Bangladesh Chess Federation yesterday to rise to the top. A total of six players are in the 2nd position with 4.5 points each. They are GM Abdullah Al-Rakib of Duranto Rajshahi, GM Ziaur Rahman of Ansar, FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Titas Club, FM Mehdi Hasan & FM Mohammad Javed of Access Group and Mahtabuddin Ahmed of Biman.
