Investors saw moderate gain in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index rose over 62 points to stand at 4,162 at the first trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 133,316 with transaction at Tk 4, 761m. Of the issues traded, 244 advanced, 29 declined and 10 remained unchanged.
ORIONPHARM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 229m having changed hands during the time.
The other turnover leaders were UNITEDAIR, BSCCL, TALLUSPIN, AAMRATECH, SPPCL, RNSPIN, AIMS1STMF, TITASGAS and MALEKSPIN.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,780 by gaining over 135 points.
Out of the issues traded, 181 gained, 20 declined and seven remained unchanged.
