BFF wants De Kruif from first of June

Update : 28 May 2013, 06:07 PM
Bangladesh Football Federation has asked Lodewijk de Kruif, the Dutch head coach, to start his job from June 1, if he agrees to the term and conditions.   Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the vice president and chairman of the National Team Committee of BFF, confirmed the fact. “De Kruif has to send his consent about a few clauses of the contract. We are expecting his final consent within two or three days. Our view is he can take charge from June 1st and work full-fledged for the SAFF Championship,” Nabil said.   The chairman added that if De Kruif and Rene Koster takes charge from early June, they will be able to see all the local players in the Super Cup and can pick then players for the national camp.   Lodewijk de Kruif first came to Dhaka in January and signed  an MOU with the BFF, agreeing in principal to take charge of the Bangladesh national football team from June. In an interim role, the Dutch duo also guided Bangladesh in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers in March. Bangladesh beat Nepal and Mariana Islands but lost to Palestine in the three matches.      Rene Koster will take charge of BFF Football Academy in Sylhet, to go along with his duties as assistant coach of the national team.
