Share prices at the country’s both bourses-- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- ended high on Tuesday.
The DSE benchmark index, DGEN gained 81.22 points or 2.09 percent to reach 3957.05 points at the closing of the day’s trading. Of the issues traded on the day, 250 gained, 29 declined and three remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 423.77 crore changed hands on Tuesday.
Similarly, the CSE key index, CSCX gained 176.72 points to stand at 7432.62 points.
Of the issues traded, 183 advanced, 13 suffered and one remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 48.20 crore were traded on the day.
