3 children injured in Faridpur bomb blast

Three students were injured as a bomb exploded in a primary school classroom on the outskirts of Faridpur town on Sunday.

The injured were identified as Nazmul Sardar, a student of class V, Rana, of class I, and Ashiq, of class II of West Gongabordhi Government Primary School, UNB reported.

Jakia Sultana, headmistress of the school, said the bomb exploded in a classroom when Nazmul was playing with a tobacco box wrapped in red scotch tape, leaving the three students injured.

Nazmul was rushed to Faridpur Medical College Hospital as his condition was critical, while the other two were given first aid.
