Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will exchange views with the grassroots level leaders of the ruling party’s Tangail district unit on April 25.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence Ganobhaban at 10 am.
Members of Awami League Central Working Committee and Tangail district AL unit, Tangail Zilla Parishad administrator, presidents and general secretaries of upazila, pouro and union units, presidents and general secretaries of associate bodies in the district, local party MPs and party-supported upazila chairmen, vice-chairmen and pouro mayors of the district will attend the meeting, said a press release on Thursday.
Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam in a statement urged all concerned to attend the meeting in time.
Sheikh Hasina initiated the views-exchange sessions in 2011 with a view to revamping the party at grassroots level.
