The devices will be available for purchase at Daraz Bangladesh
Chinese electronics company TCL Communication has debuted Alcatel, their leading mobile phone brand, in Bangladesh with the launch of its latest range of smartphones and feature phones.
According to a press release issued on Monday, Grameen Distribution Ltd (GDL), the leading ICT products distributor in Bangladesh, was announced as the authorized distributor for the brand.
GDL Managing Director Md Ashraful Hassan said: “We are very excited about this venture with TCL communication.”
“We are quite confident that the aesthetically eye-catching modern design, technicality, durability and compatibility of Alcatel products will be highly praised amongst the consumers of Bangladesh,” he added.
The devices will be available exclusively with the largest e-commerce platform in the country, Daraz Bangladesh (daraz.com.bd).
The company has further announced the plan for the phone to be available in the offline market soon.
Their latest smartphone, Alcatel 3, was launched with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The variants are priced at Tk12,999 and Tk14,999, respectively.
Alcatel 3 features a 5.9-inch HD+ Super Full View Display, 16MP + 5MP dual camera and 3500mAh battery.
Both variants of the phone run on Android™ Pie™ 9 AI driven operating system, and are powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ octa-core chipset.
