Nxt Robotics Frontier launched in Dhaka

Innovation Hub Bangladesh, in association with EMK Center, has taken the initiative to launch the program to be conducted by AI Robotics and facilitated by the EMK Makerlab

The inauguration ceremony of The Nxt Robotics Frontier was held at EMK Center in Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Saturday.

The Nxt Robotics Frontier is a six-month intensive training program designed to provide students with a minimal background in system automation, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics, according to a press statement.

The program is primarily aimed at delivering technologically feasible innovative products helpful for the economy, according to a press statement. 

Innovation Hub Bangladesh, in association with EMK Center, has taken the initiative to launch the program to be conducted by AI Robotics and facilitated by the EMK Makerlab, according to a press statement. 

EMK Center Director MK Aaref gave the opening speech at the ceremony, while Innovative Hub Bangladesh founder Imran Fahad delivered the keynote speech. 

In his address, Imran said the modules of the program were well-designed to provide focused learning on how an automated system can be developed from scratch.

These modules include design and development of core electrical systems and mechanical chassis, software progress for embedded system infrastructure, and entrepreneurship opportunities after product development.

Prominent trainers and mentors in robotics, as well as well-known ICT, FMCG, telecommunication, healthcare, and start-up personalities were present at the launch ceremony, including Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) Managing Director Hosne Ara Begum, who was the chief guest, and Technohaven Company Ltd founder and CEO, Habibullah N Karim, who was the special guest.

Among other guests were ACI Logistics Ltd Executive Director, Sabbir Nasir, Grameenphone Head of IoT, Reduan Hasan Khan, Amar Desh, Amar Gram CEO Ataur Rahman, BASIS Director Didarul Alam, Cloudcoder Ltd Managing Director Rafsanjani Samir, Anowara Group Director Monabber Ahmed, Specialist from LICT Project Asad-ur-Rahman Nile, and Daffodil Computers Ltd Head of Mobile Business, Muhammad Toufiqul Islam, Dr Mahfuza Moushumi from Jhpiego Bangladesh, Dewan Adnan from iDEA Project Startup Bangladesh, and Muiz Touky from EY.
