Bangladesh’s Mehedi Hasan Alvi emerged as the runners-up at the Asian U-14 Development Tennis in Bangkok, Thailand Friday.
On the fourth day of the Division Two competition, Alvi lost the boys’ singles final against Jordan’s Mohammad Akotpe 0-6 3-6.
Bangladesh also lost the boys’ doubles final as Mohammad Roman Hossain and Pakistan’s Hamid Israr Gul suffered a 3-6 0-6 loss at the hands of Akotpe and Iran’s Kasra Mahmani.
