Abdul Karim, the former national shooter of Bangladesh, breathed his last at his residence in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon. He was 72.
Karim played for the national team from 1978 to 1982. Representing Rajarbagh Rifle Club, he won gold in 2nd and 3rd National Shooting Championship 1979 and 1982. He later became the secretary of Rajarbagh Rifle Club.
He was also an Executive Committee member of Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation (BSSF) two times and Counselor of Rajarbagh Rifle club four times.
BSSF mourned the death of Abdul Karim through a press release yesterday.
