Bangladesh volleyball team's hope for their maiden medal in the SA Games limited to bronze only after they lost to Pakistan by straight 3-0 sets in the semifinal.

Harsit Biswas and Co surrendered in the opening set with 25-15 loss before fighting out to a 25-21 defeat in the second set.

The third set was more evenly contested but Bangladesh conceded 26-24 points.

The spikers, who bagged their only win over Nepal in the group stage, will now face another strong opponent in Sri Lanka in the bronze-medal deciding match on Monday.
