Bangladeshi athletes take part in Nagoya Handi Marathon

The marathon is held every year at the Japanese city.

Two Bangladeshi athletes are taking part in the Handi Marathon that is going to take place at Nagoya City of Japan from Monday. With the help of Bangladesh Protibandhi Kalyan Somitee (BKPS), Nur Nahiyan, the vice-captain of Bangladesh wheel-chair cricket team and Mizanur Rahman, the director of Jamlapur Disabled People’s Organization to Development (DPOD) will take part in the tournament.

The marathon is held every year at the Japanese city.

Abdus Sattar Dulal, the founder and executive director of BPKS said. “Two athletes are sent from Bangladesh to take part in the competition with the help of BPKS. Not only sports, but also the awareness about the life of physically challenged people are also raised through the meet.”

The athletes will return home on Wednesday.
