Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation is planning to send 10 national junior and senior wrestlers for year-long training camp in Hariyana, India next month, informed the federation’s general secretary Tabiur Rahman Palowan.
Players were picked up from the two-day long national wrestling championship that concluded Wednesday.
“A total of 10 wrestlers will go to India in February. The players are selected from the national championship along with some junior wrestlers. They will stay in Hariyan for three months first. There is a good training centre in Hariyana. We earlier asked the Indian Wrestling Federation to provide our wrestlers this opportunity ahead of the South Asian Games and other international events,” said Tabiur, who also informed that they will send two wrestlers to Iran for training camp, and participate in a tournament there.
