In the men’s final, Police beat Ansar by 3-2 sets while in the women’s final, Ansar defeated Khulna by 2-1 sets

Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party clinched the Victory Day Throwball Competition Thursday in the men’s and women’s category respectively in Dhaka.

In the men’s final, Police beat Ansar by 3-2 sets while in the women’s final, Ansar defeated Khulna by 2-1 sets.

Walton Group senior operative director (Games and sports), Asian Throwball Association vice president and Bangladesh Throwball Association president FM Iqbal bin Anwar was present on the occasion as the chief guest.

Four men’s teams – Police, Ansar, South Point and Rider Club – and as many women’s sides – Ansar, Khulna, Dhaka and Police – took part in the two-day tournament.
