The All Asia Open Karate Championship will be hosted by Bangladesh for the first time in history.
The two-day tournament, organised by International Karate Organisation, will be held on November 9 and 10 in Mirpur’s Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium.
A total of 60 athletes from host Bangladesh, Japan, Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macao, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bahrain, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Kuwait will take part in the tournament.
The organisers in a press conference Thursday informed that Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid will inaugurate the event.
