Independence Day Kabaddi: Final round begins Friday
The final round of the Bashundhara Group Independence Day Kabaddi 2018 is all set to get underway with the match between Bogra and Khulna at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Paltan Friday. A total of eight districts split into two groups will take part in the tournament. The logo of the competition was officially unveiled during a press conference at the Bangladesh Olympic Association auditorium Thursday where the sponsors of the event were also announced. In the other games on the inaugural day, Mymensingh will take on Sylhet, Dinajpur face Barisal while Madaripur will lock horn with Chittagong.

"We provided regular training opportunities to top six players from the previous edition at the national camp," said Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation general secretary Habibur Rahman. "Our main target is the Asian Games. We are giving this tournament (Independence Day Kabaddi) special priority as part of our preparation for the Games," he added.
