Bangladesh archer Ruman Sana clinched gold medal in the men’s recurve individual event after beating his Russian opponent in the final of an international archery tournament in Kyrgyzstan on Friday.
Ruman found it easy against Nikolayev Alexei of Russia as he won the game by a dominating 6-0 set victory.
It was the fourth international goal for the 23-year-old Bangladesh archer.
Ruman earlier defeated Uzbekistan opponent Zamshed Sadikov in the semi-finals.
After making debut for the national team in 2011, Ruman first won gold in the recurve individual event during the Asia Cup stage two world ranking tournament in 2015.
He won two more golds in the ISSF International Solidarity Archery Championship in Dhaka this year in the team and mixed team events.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh mixed team comprising Ruman and Beauty Roy lost to Tajikistan 5-3 in the bronze medal deciding match on the same day.
