Bangladesh concluded their campaign in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup on a winning note as they thrashed Argentina 67-26 in their final Group A game in Ahmedabad, India on Wednesday.
It was yet another dominating performance by the Bangladesh raiders who led the scoring charts. The raiders in red and green led the raid points 42-23, tackle points 14-2, all-out points 8-0 and extras 3-1.
Bangladesh however, were unable to progress to the semi-finals as it was hosts India and South Korea who qualified for the last four from Pool A.

Bangladesh had earlier thumped England 52-18, lost against India 20-57, lost against South Korea 32-35 before outclassing Australia 80-8. They finished third behind the Koreans and the home side with three wins in five matches.
Bangladesh have seven new faces in the squad and prepared for the tournament for the best part of the last two months.

The World Cup is being held after a nine-year hiatus.
