Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy reached the final of the SIBL Victory Day Hockey Championship 2018 after the former defeated the latter 4-3 in the penalty shootout in the last match of the round-robin league at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium Monday evening.
The stipulated time ended 1-1 where Mohammad Milon Hossain put Bangladesh Army ahead in the 24th minute before Farhad Ahmed cancelled the lead two minutes later.

Meanwhile, BKSP outplayed Bangladesh Police 4-0 in the day’s first game with Rakibul Hasan scoring twice while Mohammad Mohsin and Sabedur Rahman added one each. All goals were scored in the second half. BKSP finished third with six points.
