Chaos as Mohammedan-Mariner tie postponed

Chaos prevailed in the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League Thursday at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka as the Super Five round match between Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Mariner Youngs Club was canceled after the 44th minute.

A final decision regarding this game will be taken by the league committee later.

Meanwhile in the other match of the day at the same venue, Sonali Bank thrashed Ajax Sporting Club 5-1, Fazle Hossain leading the way with a brace.

Prosenjit Ray, Deen Islam Emon and Tanzeem Ahmed also netted for the winning side.

Rahat Sarwar scored the consolation goal for Ajax.
