Bangladesh national football team suffered yet another heartbreak as they lost aginst hosts Nepal during their Three Nations Cup final at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Monday.
Nepal scored two goals in the first half as Sanjog Rai and Bishal Rai's strikes in the 24th and the 42nd minute respectively.
Bangladesh’s Mahbubur Rahman scored in the 82nd minute but that was not enough as Nepal hold their nerve eventually to clinch the trophy.
Earlier, the men in red and green ended their single round robin campaign with highest four points, while Nepal and Kyrgyzstan finished second and third respectively with two and one point.
