A total of 24 media houses, divided into eight groups will take part in this tournament
Organized by Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and sponsored by Square Toiletries, Kool-BSJA Media Cup football begins in the artificial turf adjacent to Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) building Tuesday.
A total of 24 media houses, divided into eight groups will take part in this tournament. The group champions will qualify for the quarter-finals, which will take place on October 4. The semi-finals and the final will be played on October 5.
Deepto TV and BanglaVision will compete in the opening match of the tournament on 9:30am today. In this six-a-side tournament, all the matches will be 30 minutes in duration with 15 minutes a half.

The tournament fixture and jerseys were revealed in the Jatiya Krira Parishad conference hall yesterday.
Square Toiletries’ head of marketing Dr. Jasmine Jaman, BSJA’s president Motaher Hossain Masum, general secretary Rayhan Ali Mughni, tournament committee’s convener Rakibul Hasan and member secretary Arafat Jobayer were present in the event among others.
Dhaka Tribune will play Maasranga TV in their first match on 9:30am Wednesday. In their second match, DT will take on Daily Sangbad on 11am Thursday.

Group D: Channel 24, Daily Ittefaq, Channel I

Group G: Deepto TV, Daily Independent, Banglavision
Group H: Daily Samakal, Daily Naya Diganta, Somoy TV
