Bangladesh football team made hard practice with physical training, ball possession, ball passing and with ball movements on the very first day at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Saturday.
The team underwent their first training session ahead of their joint qualification (Round 1) for the World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023.
Head coach Jamie Day expressed satisfaction over the fitness of national booters.
“Everyone came back after the game against Laos, I’m very pleased with that, we have no problem with fitness,” the Bangladesh head coach said.

“They worked hard for their clubs [in the Bangladesh Premier League] in my absence. They did their homework well in my absence,” he added.
When asked about their preparation, Day said, “Now the next two weeks will make them sharp enough. So we do hope we will be ready before the game.”
A total of 19 players joined the camp among initially called 26 players.
After the residential camp, the BFF will finalize the 23-member final squad next Saturday.
Total seven players of Abahani Limited - goalkeeper Shahidul Alam Sohel, defender Tutul Hosain Badshah, midfielders Mamunul Islam and Sohel Rana and forwards Nabib Newaj Jibon, Saad Uddin and Jewel Rana - were absent in the camp due to their preoccupation in the away match of the AFC Cup against April 25 SC, scheduled for Wednesday at Kim-ll-Sung Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea.
