The Bangladesh Premier League fixture between Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Arambagh Krira Sangha will be held Saturday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka after persistent rainfall meant the match had to be canceled Friday.

The game did get underway but after just three minutes, rain came to pouring down to postpone the match.

After a few hours, match commissioner Ibrahim Nesar said, “We we entered the field, we noticed that the ground was playable but there were still thunderstorms. Owing to the weather, we had to push the game back by a day. The match will resume from the fourth minute at 7pm Saturday.”

Arambagh are fifth with 19 points from 13 matches while Mohammedan are 10th in the 13-team standing with nine points from the same number of outings.
