Farashganj Sporting Club are at the summit of the second tier Bangladesh Championship League following the completion of phase one Thursday.

The Old Dhaka outfit are top with 18 points from 10 matches, while Police Football Club and Agrani Bank are joint second with 16 points each.

Under the stewardship of head coach Mirona Khatun, Dhaka City FC are fourth with 15 points.

In Thursday’s only match, Wari edged Young Men’s Fakirerpool 2-1.

The mid-season transfer window will begin Friday, following which the league will resume on April 9.

The top two teams will be promoted to the Premier League, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to the First Division.
