Federation Cup winner Abahani Limited finished as group champion in the Walton Independence Cup 2018-19 season, despite being held to a goalless draw against Brothers Union in their last match of Group C at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Saturday evening.
The result saw Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra get out of the group stage with only a point, while the Sky Blues finished their group campaign at the top with four points.
Brothers also moved through with two draws.

Abahani will take on Group A runners-up Saif Sporting Club in the third quarter-final Thursday, while Brothers face the in-form Arambagh Krira Sangha in the first quarter-final Tuesday.
Abahani earlier defeated Muktijoddha 2-1 in their opening group match last week, while Brothers played out a 1-1 draw against the Muktis.
