Bangladesh boys made a good start in the tournament routing Bhutan 9-0 in their first match and became champion of Group A after beating host Nepal 2-1 in their second game, despite playing with 10 men for around an hour

Bangladesh were confident before facing the powerful Indian outfit in the semi-final of the 2018 Saff U-15 championship Thursday at ANFA Complex in Lalitpur, Nepal.

Bangladesh boys made a good start in the tournament routing Bhutan 9-0 in their first match and became champion of Group A after beating host Nepal 2-1 in their second game, despite playing with 10 men for around an hour.

Bangladesh coach Parvez Babu said all of his players are in good shape and they are looking forward to implementing their plans properly in the semi-final.

“All of our players are injury free. We have seen the match between India and Pakistan, we noted down India’s play. We made plans and we hope we may imply our plans [Thursday]”, said Babu to the media Wednesday.

Bangladesh became champion of this tournament back in 2015 at home by beating the same opponent in the final.

Parvez sought prayers from his countrymen so that the boys may continue their success in the tournament.
