Bangladesh head coach Jamie Day made only one change from the Bhutan win as experienced midfielder Mamunul Islam replaced youngster Atiqur Rahman Fahad to partner Jamal Bhuiyan in midfield for the crucial Group A tie against Pakistan

The Saff Championship 2018 group stage match between Bangladesh and Pakistan was locked at 0-0 following the end of the first half at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka Thursday.

Bangladesh head coach Jamie Day made only one change from the Bhutan win as experienced midfielder Mamunul Islam replaced youngster Atiqur Rahman Fahad to partner Jamal Bhuiyan in midfield for the crucial Group A tie against Pakistan.

Last match's hero, youngster Mahbubur Rahman Sufil kept his place as centre-forward, flanked by Biplo Ahmed and Saad Uddin, while Shahidul Alam Sohel started again between the posts.

Pakistan made three changes as their Brazilian head coach Jose Nogueira brought in defenders Nasir Qazi and Shahbaz Younas and forward Muhammad Adil, who replaced Denmark-based forward Naweed Bashir at the forward line.
