The U-15 women's national team has passed quite a relaxing day (Friday) in Bhutan after a flying start against Pakistan to begin their Saff U-15 Women's Championship campaign in style on the previous day.

The girls enjoyed a walk in the morning for recovery at the hilly roads near the Army Basketball Ground in Olakha for around an hour, which also included stretching, some physical exercises and running.

With three days in-hand before the second and last group match against Nepal, the girls had a refreshing time in the afternoon, exploring Thimphu together for one-and-a-half hours. Early in the noon, the girls went for a 45-minute gym session in the team hotel. The final session included a team discussion in the evening at the hotel's meeting room.

Goalkeeper Mahmuda Akhter has been a regular face in the team for quite a while. She said, “We are very happy after winning against Pakistan by a big margin. Our team played a tremendous match. Now we are thinking about the second match and we want to win against Nepal with style. We all will give our full effort to keep up the winning run.”

Attacking midfielder Monika Chakma said, “I feel very happy after a big-margin win in the first match. I want to give a bigger effort in the next match and hope we finish as group champions.”
