Bangladesh U-17 School Football begins March 25

Clear Men Bangladesh U-17 Championship, sponsored by Unilever in collaboration with Bangladesh Football Federation, will kick off on March 25 with the participation of school teams across the country. The best 16 school teams will take part in the final round which will be held in Dhaka and 26 best young footballers from the tournament will get the opportunity to be a part of "boot camp", organised by the country's football governing body. It is however, not yet finalised as to how many teams would participate in the opening round. The format of the tournament's initial stage has also not been drawn up. BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag informed that the federation will provide logistic support, prepare the by-laws and regulations of the tournament, as well as providing referees and coaches for the event.
