Arambagh climbed two places upto eighth place in the points table. Arambagh now have 14 points from as many matches while Muktijoddha remained second from bottom with only eight points.

Jewel Rana put Saif Sporting ahead in the opening minute of the first-half added time. Receiving a low cross from the right side, Jewel fired home into the top right corner. Farashganj reacted quickly as they leveled the margin three minutes later, moments before the end of the first half. Following a long ball from Joshim Uddin from the halfway line, midfielder Mohammad Shamim placed home calmly into the near post from the right side of the box.
Saif Sporting dominated the second half with the majority of ball possession. They also created more scoring chances than the opposition, including Wedson hitting the sidepost at the hour mark, but Farashganj held on.
