The allrounder has picked former Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar to open alongside Tendulkar. Dynamic West Indies batsman Chris Gayle and India’s Virat Kohli are slotted in to bat at number 3 and 4 respectively – a number below their regular position though.
One of the greatest all-rounders, Jacques Kallis comes at number 5 in Shakib’s side, followed by wicketkeeper-batsman Dhoni at 6. The 34-year-old placed himself at number 7.
The bowling department consists of four legends of the game – Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan, Pakistan’s Wasim Akram and the Australian duo of Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath; collectively these four have over 1700 ODI wickets to their name.
