Bangladesh Cricket Board has now decided to take a direct route and enter into agreements with different organizations on the back of the U-19 side’s triumph in South Africa

Bangladesh Cricket Board is facing some sort of difficulties finding sponsors for the title sponsorship rights of the national men’s team.

Prior to the Bangladesh U-19 cricket team’s historic success in the U-19 World Cup in South Africa, Bangladesh cricket in the form of the national men’s team did not have the best of times.

As a result, there was a lack of interest among sponsors for the title sponsorship rights of the national men’s team, Bangladesh A side, the U-19 men’s team and the national women’s side.

Despite extending the deadline for the submission of bids by the interested parties, there was no response.

Subsequently, Bangladesh Cricket Board has now decided to take a direct route and enter into agreements with different organizations on the back of the U-19 side’s triumph in South Africa.

According to a BCB source, lack of interest from the sponsors is quite embarrassing, and cited the bad performance of the national men’s team as one of the main reasons.

But the board is now hoping to attract some major sponsors after the success of the U-19 team.
