West Indian Andre Fletcher stole the show with jaw-dropping 5 sixes that helped him score 40 off just 15 balls

Bangla Tigers displayed one of the best performances to chase down 114 – the highest target set for a team in this seasons Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10, as they beat Karnataka Tuskers by five wickets on Sunday.

West Indian Andre Fletcher stole the show with jaw-dropping 5 sixes that helped him score 40 off just 15 balls.

Fletcher – the highest individual scorer in the history of the T10 league, gave Bangla Tigers the right kind of start opening the batting and set the tone for the team’s run chase.

He was well supported by opening partner Rilee Rossouw who scored 22 off 10 balls. However, the Tuskers came back strongly by claiming four quick wickets that put the pressure back on Tigers.

With four wickets down, Tom Moores and Robby Frylink guided the team to near victory with a 36-run stand as the former remained not out on 28 off just nine balls as Tigers won the match sparing seven balls.

Earlier, Tuskers scored 114 for 1 in their stipulated ten overs, dominated by Johnson Charles who hit 57 in 29 balls and well supported by Captain Hashim Amla, who scored unbeaten 47 off 29 balls in his second T10 match.

With this match all the four teams in Group B Tigers, Delhi Bulls, Deccan Gladiators and Tuskers have two points from two encounters, while Tiger lead the points table courtesy of a better net run rate.
