Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has received the No Objection certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to play in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League T20 tournament.

Tridents have announced that Shakib will be replacing Nepalese spinner Sandeep Lamichhane who will be leaving for national duty. Shakib will join the team ahead of their match against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at Kensington Oval on Saturday 28 September.

Apart from Shakib, young all-rounder Afif Hossain was picked by Saint Kitts and Nevis but Afif did not get NOC from the Board as he was playing for A Team, HP team and later took part in the tri-nation T20I series.
