Bangladesh won their first ever multi-nation trophy when they defeated the West Indies in the final of the tri-nation series in Ireland Friday but they barely got enough time to celebrate the historic victory as the Tigers had to depart for London Saturday.
The Tigers then travelled to Leicester where they will stay at the Hilton hotel.
Bangladesh will have optional practice sessions Sunday and Monday and are scheduled to have a rest day Tuesday before returning to training Wednesday.
After the training sessions, Bangladesh will go to Cardiff and there, the Tigers’ World Cup campaign will officially begin.
Match winner Mosaddek Hossain has informed that the team had the belief of winning the tri-nation ODI series final, even after being set a revised target of 210 in just 24 overs against the @windiescricket at Malahide Cricket Club Friday.https://t.co/D9m6Dqk4Or#BCBTIGERS #BCB— Dhaka Tribune Sports (@Sport_DT) May 18, 2019
