Both the spinners took one wicket each but most importantly, checked the boundaries
The spin bowling duo of Bangladesh- Shakib al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz- showed another clinical performance for the Tigers at the middle part of the West Indies innings.
West Indies had a good chance to score big at Malahide after winning the toss. But Shakib and Miraz checked the run rate and restricted the opponents for a lowly total.
Both the spinners took one wicket each but most importantly checked the boundaries. Shakib and Miraz jointly conceded only three boundaries in their 20 overs of bowling.
Shakib conceded only 10 runs in his first six overs when well-set Shai Hope and Jason Holder were batting. He finished his overs conceding just 27 runs in 10 overs. Miraz also conceded just 41 runs, much less than the per over average in a batting friendly condition.
