Unimpressive Fizz against Windies

Bangladesh will need a full-fit Mustafiz with rhythm to get a good result in the forthcoming World Cup.

Left arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is regarded one of the main weapons for Bangladesh in the one-day internationals as the lanky southpaw brought many wins for his side with his effective bowling. His skill is not only taking wickets but he is considered one of the most frugal bowlers in Tigers’ setup. However, injury seemed to getting better over him and the bowler’s performance has become a major concern recently. Mustafiz, who conceded 93 runs in his last ODI in New Zealand, once again leaked runs freely and returned with a disappointing figure of 2/84 on Tuesday. Ironically that is his second most expensive figure after the New Zealand one. The pacer was omitted from the practice match but was included in the ODI against West Indies. However, he looked out of rhythm despite picking up two late wickets and may not be fully fit as his body language suggested. Bangladesh will need a full-fit Mustafiz with rhythm to get a good result in the forthcoming World Cup.
