Sk Jamal prevail over BKSP

After winning the toss, Sheikh Jamal dismissed BKSP for a paltry 161 and reached the target by scoring 165/5 in 32.2 overs at Savar. With this five-wicket against win, Jamal have moved to fifth place in the points table with five wins in 10 matches.

Sent in to bat first, young BKSP batsmen were tested against the experienced opposition bowlers. BKSP lost their first wicket in the third over and lost wickets in regular intervals before being folded in the 43rd over. Their captain cum wicket-keeper-batsman Akbar Ali was the highest scorer with 43. Nasir Hossain and Elias Sunny bagged three wickets each for Jamal.

In reply, all the Jamal’s batsmen scored in double digit and their Indian recruit Anustup Majumdar scored the highest, 43 runs.

Sunny (32), Nurul Hasan (not out 20) and Nasir Hossain (20) made valuable contributions to clinch the win with 88 balls to spare. s
