Enamul's last ball six gives Sheikh Jamal tight win

Sheikh Jamal had to wait until the last ball to clinch a tight win

Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited lost to Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited after a last-ball six at BKSP, Savar.

Mohammaden scored 240 runs before getting all-out after opting to bat first against Sheikh Jamal. 

Opener Abdul Mazid was the top-scorer with 52 of 90 balls while Chaturanga de Silva scored 49 off 39 balls.

Mohammad Ashraful made 44 off 74 balls with five fours.

Salauddin Shakil was the best bowler for Sheikh Jamal as he took three wickets conceding 41 runs.

In reply, Sheikh Jamal had to wait until the last ball to clinch a tight win. 

In the last over, 12 runs were needed with Enamul Haque and Taijul Islam at the crease and Sheikh Jamal had three wickets in hand. 

All-rounder Alauddin Babu came to bowl the last over for Mohammedan.

Seven runs came off five balls as Taijul was caught short of the crease. 

Five runs were required from the last ball and Enamul smashed a six to ensure a thrilling two-wicket win for Sheikh Jamal. 

Enamul was unbeaten on 28 off just 17 balls with two fours and the winning six.

Earlier, opener Imtiaz Hossain scored the highest 74 while Tanbir Hayder (39) and captain Nurul Hasan (32) also made handy contributions for Sheikh Jamal
