ICC president Shashank Manohar heaped praise on Bangladesh cricket, and said the Tigers have the potential to be at the summit of the cricketing world.
Manohar said this Thursday at Le Meridian Hotel in Dhaka during the second day of his three-day visit to Bangladesh.
During his reception programme, the ICC boss also got to look at the model of the proposed Sheikh Hasina International Cricket Stadium in Purbachal.
BCB chief Nazmul Hasan, the BCB directors, former and current Bangladesh cricket team captains and the Bangladesh women cricketers were also present.
“Cricket is doing well under the leadership of Nazmul. Everybody knows in the world. Bangladesh can now beat India, Australia and England. They are performing very well. The only thing lacking is consistency. They can be in the top of the world,” said Manohar.
