The BPL 6 is all set for the blockbuster match between defending champion Rangpur Riders and title contender Dhaka Dynamites at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium Monday.
The last time they played each other in the Dhaka phase was a thriller as the match was decided in the very last over with plenty of action all around.
The tie is important for both the teams to enhance their prospects of qualifying for the play offs as they have the same number of points in the standing - 10.
Having played one game less than Rangpur, Dhaka will definitely try to return to winning ways after losing their last two matches.
The ZACS wickets are batting-friendly and it is expected to be a high-scoring encounter.
And let’s not forget Rangpur have a destructive top-order with the likes of Chris Gayle, Alex Hales, AB de Villiers and Rilee Rossouw.

Both Hales and Rossouw scored centuries in the last match as Rangpur posted the highest ever total (239) in BPL history, against Chittagong Vikings.
Dhaka pacer Rubel Hossain believes it will be a competitive match and that the bowlers will need to be clever with their variations in these sort of wickets where batsmen tend to play a lot of shots.
“Chittagong wickets are always batting-friendly. I believe it will be a tough contest as both teams are strong. Bowlers need to bowl cleverly in these wickets. They have to understand the wicket and situation and try to implement the game-plan to achieve success here,” said Rubel after training at ZACS Sunday.
Gayle has not fired for Rangpur yet in the ongoing BPL, but Rossouw is in brilliant form, while Hales joined in the party in the last few games.
Not to forget, they have Mr 360, De Villiers in their top-order.
So the Riders are heavily dependent on the top four in their batting line-up and will once again hope the quartet fires against a strong opponent like Dhaka.

Dhaka also have some big names in their rank as they have world-class all-rounders for the T20 format like Shakib al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard.
Goes without saying, fans can certainly expect a high-scoring encounter.
In the other match of the day at the same venue, Khulna Titans will face Comilla Victorians.
Khulna have had a disappointing season so far as they managed to win only twice in 10 attempts.
But they aim to finish the tournament on a high note by winning their remaining two matches.
Comilla camp is pretty relaxed at the moment, and enjoyed a day off from practice Sunday.
They have won five games out of eight.
