Mohammad Hafeez will be available for the Kings for five matches, following which he will fly off to South Africa for the ODI series
Rajshahi Kings strengthened their squad ahead of the upcoming BPL T20, scheduled to begin on January 5 next year, signing Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
The Kings confirmed the signing on their official Facebook page Wednesday, saying “Highly experienced, effective in both the departments, Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Mohammad Hafeez in the Kings' squad!”
Hafeez will be available for the Kings for five matches, following which he will fly off to South Africa for the ODI series.
The Pakistan all-rounder previously featured for Khulna Royal Bengals in 2012 and was set to turn out for Comilla Victorians in the last edition but pulled out in the eleventh hour to work on his bowling action that was deemed illegal on a couple of occasions in the past.
Rajshahi will take on Dhaka Dynamites in the evening game on the opening day of the tournament at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
